Introducing Dr. Sarah Moseley as our new Patron.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Sarah Moseley, a renowned author, trainer, and consultant, is joining 1in10 Dyslexia as our newest patron. With over 25 years of experience in both special and mainstream education, Dr. Moseley brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for empowering learners, particularly those with neurodiverse needs.
As a literacy and inclusion specialist, Dr. Moseley’s mission has always been to remove barriers and ensure equal access to education for all learners. She has worked across a broad spectrum of educational settings, from headteacher roles to consultancy, always with a focus on making a positive difference in the lives of neurodiverse students. Her work aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, helping educators and families alike provide the right support for children who may struggle to learn in traditional ways.
Dr. Moseley is also a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). She provides training and consultancy to professionals and families, offering insights and strategies that empower them to better support learners with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions. Her recent book, Teaching Reading to All Learners, exemplifies her commitment to inclusive education, and she continues to contribute to key industry publications, sharing her knowledge with the broader educational community.
With a PhD in Special Education and a strong background in the psychology of learning, Dr. Moseley’s approach is evidence-based and grounded in research. She firmly believes that every learner can succeed when they are placed in the right environment, supported with the right tools, and given the right opportunities.
At 1in10, we share Dr. Moseley’s belief in the potential of all students, and we are excited to have her as part of our team. Her expertise and passion for fostering inclusive learning environments will be invaluable as we continue to support dyslexic learners and their families.
